VitaMonk REMcell Review Conclusion
There’s really nothing special about this sleep supplement at all. It contains Valerian Root, which is fairly effective at reducing stress, melatonin (although in a synthetic form), and a bunch of other ingredients that do absolutely nothing for sleep.
We pretty much refuse to pay for any dead weight whatsoever. If an ingredient doesn’t contribute to your goals – if it doesn’t do what it says on the bottle – then we see no reason to hand over cash for it. We certainly don’t like taking any more substances than we absolutely need to in order to get what we want. VitaMonk REMcell is more dead weight than anything else. A serious let down. Better sleeping stacks are available.
Where To Buy REMcell
Like most of you, we first came across this stack on Amazon. We think this is where most sales are done. Whenever possible, buy direct from the manufacturer.
Detailed VitaMonk REMcell Review
This is the first time we’ve ever heard of VitaMonk, and it’s probably the same for you. These guys aren’t too well known. However, they do make a wide range of products: appetite stimulants, heart health stacks, and even some isolated nootropic compounds. These all seem to be sold exclusively through their Amazon store – we see the dreaded “Fulfilled by Amazon” tag, which is never a good sign.
But anyway, enough waffling. What is VitaMink REMcell all about?
What is it supposed to do exactly?
According to the Amazon merchant page, VitaMonk REMcell is designed to “promote restfulness and sound sleep”. Good stuff.
The page gives us some more specific benefits to look forward to as well:
- Promotes deep sleep
- Increases sleep length
- All ingredients backed by science
- No “hangover” or morning grogginess
- Leaves you feeling fresh in the morning
There’s o real mention of reducing sleep latency, which will be of some concern to many of you.
For a lot of us, getting deep sleep isn’t the problem – it’s falling asleep in the first place. Our addiction to digital screens and the stresses of the modern work place mean that more and more of us are tossing and turning long into the night.
Sleep supplements often try to address this by including ingredients that hasten the onset of sleep. They don’t sedate you or anything – they merely encourage feelings of relaxation, signal the brain that it’s time for bed, and help trigger melatonin release.
There’s no mention of this with VitaMonk REMcell.
But the benefits they have mentioned all sound great. We’re particularly happy to see that all the ingredients are backed by science. Of course, we’ll be the judge of that! Every stack says the same thing, but so few actually deliver on this point.
So, does VitaMonk REMcell really work?
Is it legit?
Is it safe?
Can it compete with the best sleep supplements on the market today?
Find out by reading our VitaMonk REMcell review below. We begin with a detailed examination of the formula. We talk about side effects, and how the stack works together. In the end, we’ll give you our final verdict – is VitaMonk REMcell worth buying? Please post all questions in the comments section at the end.
VitaMonk REMcell Formula
Take a look at the VitaMonk REMcell ingredients list:
On the whole, we aren’t too impressed with this product. We don’t think it will deliver anywhere near the same kind of benefits you can get from the best sleep supplements around today.
It is pretty weak, truth be told.
It certainly doesn’t represent good value for money.
All in all, not a great sleep aid. You can do better.
Main Strengths – Valerian & Melatonin
While we don’t like VitaMonk REMcell overall, there are some good features that should be pointed out.
For example, the main ingredient used here is Valerian Root. Each serving of REMcell gives us 300mg of the stuff.
Valerian Root is used for its anxiolytic properties. This means it helps reduce anxiety, alleviate the symptoms of stress, and promote relaxation.
This has indeed been demonstrated in clinical trials. This study, for instance, found that 400mg of Valerian Root per day helped bring about sleep and improved the quality of that sleep.
However, other studies have turned up contradictory results. This study, for instance, found that 600mg of Valerian Root was not able to reliably improve sleep parameters.
While anecdotal data is of limited value, this does sit with what some users have said about Valerian Root – namely, that it is unreliable.
It seems that sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn’t.
What is clear is that it is nowhere near as effective at reducing anxiety as things like Rhodiola rosea.
It is also not as effective as theanine at bringing about sleep.
So while it works well for some, we can’t get too excited about what is, in reality, a substandard ingredient.
We expect nothing but the best for our money, and so should you.
Main Weakness – Dud Ingredients
Aside from the Valerian Root and the pretty uninspiring dose of melatonin, the VitaMonk REMcell formula is a total flop.
The other ingredients are all duds.
You get the picture.
You will see many of these ingredients in sleeping supplements. They are commonly used throughout the industry. Some of the most popular products use them, and some quacks even recommend these things to their patients (as strictly complimentary medicine, of course).
But there is absolutely no concrete scientific evidence supporting their use as sleep aids.
There are no robust clinical trials in which these ingredients helped people fall asleep faster, get more sleep, or lead to more restful, restorative sleep.
A sizable chunk of the REMcell formula is taken up by Passionflower – 150mg to be exact.
We have absolutely no reason to believe that Passionflower supplementation helps you get more sleep, or to fall asleep in good time.
REMcell is not the only sleep supplement to utilize Lavender Extract, but that doesn’t mean it works! While dropping some lavender on your pillow might help you drift off at night, we aren’t convinced by the studies looking at supplementation.
To put it simply, we don’t like how much of this formula is totally unhelpful for people looking to get more, higher quality, restful sleep.
VitaMonk REMcell Side Effects
Perhaps the most positive aspect of this REMcell review will be the side effect appraisal.
Like most natural sleeping supplements, REMcell looks unlikely to cause anybody any serious side effects. The ingredients are all widely used, and complaints are rare.
Each ingredient has been deemed safe for even long term human consumption.
Even mild side effects seem to be rare.
While we don’t think you’ll get much in the way of benefits from REMcell, we don’t think you’re putting yourself in too much danger either.
That said, every individual is different, and your own specific circumstances will determine how safe it is for you to consume REMcell.
We need you to remember the following: It is absolutely vital that you consider your own circumstances, do your own research, and always consult a qualified health professional before using these supplements.

If you are suffering with serious sleep deprivation or chronic insomnia, then talk to a doctor SOON.
Final Verdict – VitaMonk REMcell – A Good Choice?
A poor quality natural sleep aid, all things considered.
It contains two good ingredients, but even there things could be drastically improved.
The melatonin isn’t of the highest quality, and there are much better anxiolytics than Valerian Root out there.
The rest of the ingredients are total duds – they lack the scientific evidence promised by the manufacturers.
If you haven’t had time to read the full REMcell review, then we recommend at least reading the “main weakness” section before you spend money on this second-rate sleep supplement.
