We Rank The Top 3 Vegan Nootropics Today

Veganism Is Now More Popular Than Ever & So Are Nootropics

Think what you want about veganism, but this way of life is growing at a phenomenal rate. Just a few years ago, hearing the word “vegan” brought to mind images of filthy communes, home-made clothes, and unemployment.

However, as more and more people have been introduced to the concept of veganism (that you just don’t actively contribute to animal cruelty as much as you can), a once fringe lifestyle has become decidedly mainstream.

Best Vegan Nootropics Today

As you might expect, this growth of veganism has in turn led to an increase in the number of vegan-friendly supplements coming on to market. This trend is as true with nootropics as with every other kind of performance enhancing supplement.

While vegans no doubt make up a minority of our readers, we want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to find the right nootropic supplements for them.

It might be surprising to many of you that there is such a thing as a non-vegan nootropic.

However, many manufacturers use animal-derived ingredients and gelatin capsules, which make their supplements not suitable for vegans or even for vegetarians.

As such, it is necessary to differentiate between those supplements which got he extra mile for their customer base, and those which don’t mind excluding a section of society so they can cut back on production costs!

#1 – Mind Lab Pro (readers’ choice)

Best Vegan Nootropic Mind Lab ProIn our opinion, MLP is the single best nootropic stack on the market today. it covers every aspect of brain function, and delivers long-term, lasting improvements, not short-term fixes. Our review team used it for several months and experienced:

  • Heightened focus
  • More motivation
  • Better mental performance under acute stress
  • Significantly enhanced memory function

The great news for you guys is that Mind Lab Pro is 100% vegan-friendly. The guys at Opti Nutra really go the extra mile to ensure their ingredients are as pure, pollutant-free, and natural as possible. Every batch is tested for microbial contaminants and heavy metals. Every capsule is completely plant-based. Enjoy!

Main Benefit: Delivers long-term, lasting improvements in cognitive function

Main Drawback: Premium supplements have premium price tag!

#2 – Free Mind INSIGHT

Best vegan nootropics INSIGHT FreemindThis is a great nootropic in its own right. It is composed of high quality ingredients and, crucially, everything comes from plants! This stuff should deliver:

  • Better memory function
  • More mental clarity
  • Less early morning brain fog

INSIGHT is marketed specifically as a vegan nootropic. It is (almost) entirely composed of scientifically-proven, effective nootropics. More importantly, the dosages are quite good, and the quality of the extracts used in this nootropic supplement are superb. It is sold as a vegan supplement, but non-vegans stand to gain a lot from using INSIGHT.

Main Benefit: Concise formula with generous serving sizes

Main Drawback: Contains some ingredients that offer little value (but not many)

#3 – form EDGE

form EDGE best vegan nootropicsEDGE is a brand new nootropic supplement from Form Nutrition. This stack is very focused. It is composed solely of highly effective, safe, scientifically validated nootropics. We think almost all form EDGE users can expect:

  • Increased focus
  • Improved long term cognitive function
  • Better memory function

form EDGE is a brand new nootropic stack. At the time of writing, very few supplement review sites have touched on it. However, we don’t doubt that in a few months time this will be one of the best known and most popular natural nootropics on the market.

EDGE has a very simple, restrained, but highly focused formula. We don’t have a lot of ingredients in here, but what we do have is absolute gold. There are no fillers in here whatsoever; all we have are extremely effective, potent, well-proven focus and memory enhancers. Side effect risks are very low, too.

If you’re looking for a full spectrum, comprehensive stack, then form EDGE probably isn’t for you. There’s no real stress support in here. There’s no anti-oxidant content. There’s nothing to boost neuron proliferation or brain cell development. But there are some superb ingredients capable of boosting memory, focus and mental clarity.

This product is vegan, kosher, halal, gluten-free; just about every diet is catered for here!

Main Benefit: Hits focus, memory and mental energy

Main Drawback: Could do much more – doesn’t promote neuron growth or reduce stress

Hi Anna, thanks for the heads up!

We just thought that since we couldn’t find any animal products in the full ingredient list, it must be vegan.

Can you tell us what it contains which makes it not vegan-friendly?

We’ll drop this from the list and update it accordingly!

Its the Alpha GPC in question. Alpha GPC (L-alphaglycerylphosphorylcholine / L- choline alfosceraat) – Derived originally from lecithin, Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline is a phospholipid found concentrated in neuronal membranes.

Their website/bottles have been updated and now say that it’s derived from soy. Glad to just find out myself
