Despite what you might have read on some particularly scammy supplement review sites, FOCUSPower is just another scam, duplicated, white label nootropic supplement. It uses the same tired-old formula as so many other nootropics currently being sold on Amazon. This formula has serious weaknesses in and of itself. 

Many of the Focus Power reviews you will see online are, in our opinion, seriously misleading. At least one of the reviews (from a site based in India to avoid litigation) shows two conflicting ratings! Buyers beware!

If you are serious about enhancing your cognitive performance, then stay away from mass-produced, low-quality, generic stacks like this. Like all of these white label, duplicate supplement scams, FOCUSPower is sold exclusively through Amazon. Organix Labs does have an official website, but all sales are re-directed to Amazon. This means Organix Labs don’t have to spend money on annoying things like storage or order processing. A big vote of confidence!

Full FOCUSPower Review

 

We noticed Focus Power being pushed on a particularly scam-ridden supplement review website, so we thought it best if we conduct a full Focus Power review ourselves. 

Organix Labs FOCUSPower is sold as a comprehensive natural nootropic supplement. 

 

 

According to the official Organix Labs merchant page for FOCUSPower, this nootropic can deliver a number of very impressive benefits. These include:

• Maximized mental clarity and focus
• “Boost Memory Enhancement Support Naturally” – keyword stuffing!
• Greater sense of well-being

The FOCUSPower page is absolutely packed full of keywords. All of the usual benefits we see associated with natural nootropics are mentioned, but they are often all rolled into one incoherent sentence. 

For example, the main product description reads: “Memory Enhancement Booster Memory Supplement Vitamin Pill Capsules”. Great English; a fantastic sign for a cognitive enhancer. 

The Organix Labs FOCUSPower page does get more specific (and coherent) regarding who FOCUSPower is for. We are told that FOCUSPower is:

• Excellent for studying and maintaining Concentration for long hours at work, memory improvement, and those with attention issues.
• Won’t give you the Jitters like the others
• Supports Increased Attention Length
• Natural, safe and effective Memory Enhancement Supplement Pills
• Made in the USA at a FDA inspected cGMP facility
• Now with Phosphatidylserine & DMAE Bitartrate

The slapdash use of capital letters is a bit worrying. Clearly FOCUSPower doesn’t help a great deal with grammar or command of English. 

However, we can’t dismiss the supplement like that. Perhaps the person who wrote the website never used the stuff, right?

So, we need to answer a very simple set of questions.

Does FOCUSPower work?

Is it safe? What are the risk of side effects?

Look familiar?

It should.

We have seen this exact same formula numerous times on this website, and we have also seen plenty of products using a very similar formula (with just a minor variation). 

A growing number of nootropics on Amazon are using this formula, and not because ti is just so good they need to copy. 

No, clearly what is happening is that a group of individuals (or possibly just one individual) are applying the “Amazon method” to nootropics. 

 

The “Amazon Method” Scam

The Amazon method is where you find a cheap white label (non-branded) product, and buy a set number of units from a wholesaler.

You then provide them with unique branding which they apply to the product after it is produced. Sometimes white label wholesalers will do the branding for you too – they make identical products for plenty of brands so they have a lot of raw material to play with!

You then set the delivery address as an Amazon warehouse, and they take care of everything from storage to shipping for a flat percentage of profits. 

It isn’t hard to find a supplement manufacturer offering this white label service. Here is a classic example: the “private label” BoliNatural Mind Matrix blend.

Does that blend look familiar?

That’s right; it’s the exact same formula used by FOCUSPower.

Setting up the “Amazon method” is easy, and it is a risk-free way of making a lot of money (if you’re smart about it). The only loser in this situation is you, the customer. 

You end up paying premium prices for a cheap, mass produced, low-quality formula composed of all the ingredients a wholesaler needs to offer as a package to get rid of. 

Would you offer up a special, professional formulation for any kid to slap his or her branding on and sell on Amazon for $39.99? Of course not.

The ease and lack of risk that comes with the Amazon method is behind this epidemic of garbage nootropics appearing on Amazon. Something needs to change soon before too many people get bitten!

What About The Formula Itself?

The FOCUSPower formula itself is replete with weaknesses and issues.

This is why we are so confident these duplicated formulas are the result of a cheap wholesale price rather than the desire to replicate results: you are unlikely to get any meaningful results from this stack!

For starters, the good nootropics used in this formula are rendered useless by low doses.

Ginkgo biloba can reliably improve cognitive function by enhancing blood flow to the brain. This allows for greater oxygen and nutrient delivery to brain cells. 

However, even low-quality, low-price Ginkgo biloba supplements you will find in your local health food store will provide more than 50mg. Most studies showing a significant improvement from Ginkgo biloba usage have looked at amounts larger than 75mg. 

 

 

We also see that vinpocetine is under-dosed by some margin.

Vinpocetine is a safe and effective nootropic. However, professional quality stacks will typically use 3 times as much as found in FOCUSPower. Many use even more. Vinpocetine is well-tolerated and reliable, so under-dosing it like this is unwise. 

The same is true of Bacopa monnieri. Here we get 100mg of Bacopa monnieri, of which just 20% are bacosides; the active ingredient in bacopa. 

By comparison, our top rated stacks all provide extracts that are over 45% bacosides, and their doses are typically between 150mg per day and 250mg per day. 

To even start to compete then, FOCUSPower would need to up its dose significantly in three key areas. 

 

 

Another major issue with FOCUSPower, and with every other stack using this same formula, is the reliance on bogus ingredients. 

The most prominent ingredient in the FOCUSPower formula is St. John’s Wort. Yet this is also the ingredient with the least amount of scientific support. 

It is no accepted as fact that St. John’s Wort is an effective anxiolytic (an anxiety fighter). But we think this is more to do with persistent marketing than the strength of the evidence.

To this date, we have never seen a single study which shows a statistically significant, sizable, and reliable mood-enhancing effect from St. John’s Wort use in human beings.

If we don’t have a good reason to believe something, we choose to not believe it. As such, we are going to ignore all of the hyperbole and sales-spin that surrounds St. John’s Wort.

Until we see a robust clinical trial, it is just another herb as far as we are concerned.

If you’ve read the rest of our Organix Labs FOCUSPower review, then you’ll know that our conclusion is not going to be positive. 

This is the same formula used by several other nootropics being sold on Amazon right now. 

By the same, we mean the same; we have listed a few above so you can see what we mean. 

We have also shown you just one example of a manufacturer offering this formula up for “private label” purchase.

This means paying for the real manufacturer to just apply your labels after the fact. Invariably, such products are generic, low-quality, bottom-rung stuff. 

Organix Labs are using the “Amazon method” here, which is where you just put up money for an initial order and then a wholesaler and Amazon run the show between them. 

This is great for all parties except the end user; they are left with a cheap, weak, ineffective nootropic and a hole in their wallet. 

If you are looking for a safe, effective, and economical nootropic to help enhance your cognitive function in the long-run, stay well clear of products like this.
