Mindzr Brain Booster Review Summary
A proprietary blend with lots of classic ‘filler’ ingredients is never a good combination. In our opinion, Mindzr Brain Booster is an obvious rip-off; we can’t think of any other reason for a manufacturer to include so many dud ingredients, nor for them to use a proprietary blend. Formula theft doesn’t happen – especially not when you’re using such basic, well understood ingredients. So why not show the individual ingredient doses on the label? The only people Mindzr could be hiding this info from is you, the end user. So many products show their full formula specs on the bottle and they make plenty of money. Regardless of why they’re doing it, clearly Mindzr can’t compete.
The amino acids in this supplement do very little – if anything – for cognition. For all we know, they could make up 95% of the formula. The other ingredients are very dose-sensitive. If we don’t get more than, say, 125mg of Bacopa monnieri or 75mg of Ginkgo Biloba, it’s kind of pointless using them at all. Why take the gamble when you can just buy a nootropic that you know gives you this much!
Where To Buy Mindzr Brain Booster
Mindzr do have their own independent, online store, but we don’t know if we’d trust it enough to put in our card details!
Full Mindzr Brain Booster Review
Mindzr Brain Booster is not a new nootropic. It seems to have been around for a while now, at least on Amazon. Mindzr Brain doesn’t show up in search results any more, but it has the same formula as this new product, so it looks like the manufacturer decided to give their brand an overhaul some time ago. Mindzr Supplements now have a couple of products to their name; a fish oil supplement, a sleep aid, and a nootropic.
So what is this brain booster supposed to do?
Why should anybody consider using it?
It’s clear that Mindzr Supplements hasn’t been up and running for very long. Either that, or they need to get their money back from whoever set up their website:
However, the website itself is full of information. It’s very modern; it looks like it was made really recently.
According to the Mindzr website, Brain Booster is designed to deliver some very simple yet very powerful core benefits:
- Supports brain health
- Shortens reactions times
- Increases mental focus
The box says that it is an “advanced cognitive formula”, but so does every other nootropic on the market at the minute. The word “advanced” is beginning to lose all meaning – not every brain supplement can be so advanced!
This sounds like a great stack though. Lots of people will benefit from this supplement if it really does what it says it can: students, programmers, gamers, freelancers and entrepreneurs can all use extra focus and better brain health going forward.
But that’s a big “if”.
Manufacturers always say this stuff, and we know that very few are actually telling the truth.
Does Mindzr Brain Booster really work?
Will it cause side effects? Is it safe for long-term use?
What have other people been saying about this nootropic? Is it a good choice for you?
Find out by reading our full Mindzr Brain Booster review below. We’ll talk about the formula in a lot more detail than you will find on other supplement review websites. We will discuss side effects, value for money, and how this nootropic compares to the best brain supplements on the market today. Mindzr Brain Booster Formula
Here’s the formula, as it is shown on the bottle:
That is one TERRIBLE formula!
There’s so much wrong with this we don’t know where to start!
First of all, there’s the horribly named CEREBRx BLEND. We hate it when manufacturers give their formulas arbitrary, scientific-sounding names. It’s just a combination of basic herbal extracts and amino acids – get over yourselves! The use of a trademark sign is almost laughable here.
They haven’t made it clear how big the blend is; it says 640mg at the bottom, but that makes it look like there’s 640mg of Phosphatidylserine. It’s like Mindzr have never seen a nootropic formula laid out before – or any supplement’s formula for that matter.
But we are going to go ahead and assume that we have 640mg in total here (aside from the B12 and Folic Acid).
We think you should avoid proprietary blends at the best of times. They’re always a rip-off; they’re just not needed.
But when they contain ineffective, benign ingredients, you should definitely stay well away.
Main Problem – Obvious ‘Fillers’ In Formula
Mindzr Brain Booster contains several ingredients that do nothing for cognitive function. We can only assume they’ve been added to ‘bulk out’ the formula, thereby allowing Mindzr to cut back on the more expensive ingredients, boosting profit margins.
Take Glutamine for example.
This amino acid is pretty much ubiquitous in the human diet. It is found in everything from chicken to bread. If you eat a normal diet, you eat several grams of glutamine each and every day.
Supplementing with this stuff is therefore kind of pointless unless you’re consuming large quantities. The only reason why people supplement with glutamine is to maximize muscle growth. When doing this, they take 5-15g every day. And these people aren’t all suddenly finding that they have incredible focus or memory function!
Taking less than 5g is kind of pointless.
The Mindzr Brain Booster proprietary blend is only 640mg in size.
So why is glutamine here at all?
It can’t be because the manufacturer believes it will improve your cognitive function in some way; they can’t be that stupid! Not only can you not possibly be getting enough, but it doesn’t have any nootropic properties anyway!
We think the only reason why anybody would add glutamine to a supplement like this is to bulk out the formula.
The same goes for Taurine and ALCAR.
These amino acids might be great for athletic performance or promoting overall good health, but if they don’t contribute to better cognitive functioning, we’re not interested!
We don’t want to pay for ingredients that don’t contribute to the goals listed on the box.
They have no reason to be here other than to pack out the formula.
The use a proprietary blend means that they don’t have to reveal any of this on the label. As far as the customer knows, there’s healthy doses of all the ingredients in Brain Booster!
After all, there’s no real reason for anybody to use a proprietary blend. Nobody steals another manufacturer’s formula. There’s no need to. We know how all of the ingredients in this stack work. We know how they need to be dosed to be effective. There’s no possible secret they could be hiding worth stealing!
So you have to ask yourself, why has Mindzr used a prop blend here instead of just listing the ingredient serving sizes individually?
Most other brands manage to show their full formula. They put transparency first and the market rewards them. Nobody steals their formulas. They sell millions of dollars worth of product every year.
Side Effects – Is Mindzr Brain Booster Safe?
You should always be careful when you’re using a proprietary blend. How safe or dangerous a substance is usually depends to a great extent on dose. A particular substance might be perfectly safe at 100mg but cause serious side effects above 500mg. To make good decisions, you need to know how much of a given ingredient you’re taking – especially when you’re expected to take it on a daily basis!
That’s one of the main reasons we hate proprietary blends so much – they put us at risk and make us speculate all for the sake of hiding their crappy formula from us!
This gets worse when a proprietary blend contains ingredients that are known to cause side effects or long-term health risks at relatively small doses.
Unfortunately that’s what we have with Mindzr Brain Booster.
The main issue is the DMAE.
DMAE is an extremely unreliable cholinergic. It works well for some people – increasing focus via raised acetylcholine levels – but it does nothing for others. A significant minority of people have reported experiencing some nasty side effects while using DMAE.
Common side effects of DMAE use at doses of 50-150mg include:
- Loss of focus
- Loss of motivation
- Muscle cramps
- Low mood
We don’t know how much DMAE is in Mindzr Brain Booster. There could be as much 600mg of DMAE in here for all we know. That would be an extremely excessive amount of DMAE. Side effects would be both inevitable and severe.
Mindzr might take exception to the fact that we’re saying there could be 600mg of DMAE in here. But we wish we didn’t have to speculate like this. We wish they’d tell us the serving sizes of their ingredients! As they’ve refused to though, we’re forced to consider the worst case scenarios.
The only other health risk we see in this formula is Ginkgo Biloba.
Ginkgo helps improve cognitive performance by increasing cerebral blood flow. It works by triggering vasodilation and by making your blood more viscous. By widening your arteries and thinning out your blood, it allows ore oxygen and nutrients to reach your brain cells – especially those cells that might not always be getting enough oxygen!
This is obviously going to be unsuitable for some users.
If you have a history of stroke, heart disease, aneurysm, or anything like that, then we advise you to stay away from Ginkgo Biloba completely.
The fact that there could be 600mg of the stuff in this supplement makes the concerns much worse!
All things considered, we don’t think the risks are worth the potential benefits here. Mindzr Brain Booster is too risky for us! When it comes to health and safety, we like sure things, not speculation.
We are not doctors, and this is not medical advice. Your own unique circumstances are relevant when considering the safety of any supplement. You need to do your own research carefully and talk to your doctor before you use natural nootropics, especially those with proprietary blends and side-effect causing ingredients! If you experience any side effects whatsoever while using this stack, cease use and seek urgent medical attention.

Mindzr Brain Booster Review Conclusion – Is It Worth The Money?
In our opinion, this is a seriously poor nootropic supplement.
The risks involved far outweigh any potential benefits. We hate uncertainty when it comes to health and safety.
The price tag is also unjustifiable given that the manufacturer wont tell us what’s in the damn thing. There’s absolutely no justification for the use of a proprietary blend these days. Formula theft doesn’t happen. You can make millions by being completely transparent with your customers. In fact, it’s almost a prerequisite today!
The only reason you would use a proprietary blend is to hide the fact that you’ve stuffed your formula full of cheap junk.
This is more common than you think.
All in all, we think Mindzr Brain Booster is a total rip-off. Don’t waste your money on garbage like this.
There are plenty of high quality, potent nootropic supplements out there that deliver great value for money and real results.
