Method MAINFRAME Review Summary
After doing a full Method MAINFRAME review, we can say that this is a pretty impressive nootropic. It is a very concentrated formula; it contains only thoroughly studied, well-proven nootropics at good doses. It also includes a very unusual ingredient: Acteolin, a branded form of an acteoside extracted from Osmanthus fragrans (Sweet Olive).
We don’t think there’s a lot of evidence backing Acteolin’s usefulness in terms of enhancing nootropic function. However, the rest of the Method MAINFRAME is excellent. In some areas, doses could be better, but in other areas we rarely see more generous serving sizes. On the whole, this is a great, well blended formula.
At present, Method MAINFRAME doesn’t seem to be on sale. The manufacturer was offering samples a little over a month ago, so we can expect some individual user reviews some time soon. Then we’ll know if this stack is as legit as it looks.
Where To Buy Method MAINFRAME

Full Method MAINFRAME Review
Method MAINFRAME is a brand new nootropic supplement. In fact, it is so new, it doesn’t even seem to be on sale yet! The manufacturer was offering free trials recently though, so we assume we’ll see this stuff commence sales within the next couple of months.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t have a good look at this natural nootropic stack and get a full Method MAINFRAME review out there!
So what is Method MAINFRAME?
What is it all about?
We really don’t have a lot of information to go on at the moment, so much of this review draws on third-party information.
MAINFRAME’s bottle is clearly designed to appeal to the programmers out there who might be looking for some help getting through their next marathon coding session.
It is simply described as a “nootropic”.
No specific benefits are given.
No real outline of what the formula is specifically supposed to do.
This is a little disappointing, as nootropics can be incredibly targeted, enhancing specific aspects of cognitive function while ignoring others.
After all, not everyone wants a full-spectrum, comprehensive nootropic!
With that out of the way, we can get down to the really important questions:
Does Method MAINFRAME really work?
What can it do?
Is Method MAINFRAME safe?
How does Method MAINFRAME compare to today’s top nootropics?
You can find answers to these questions throughout our full Method MAINFRAME review below. At the end, we tell you whether or not we would recommend this supplement to any of our readers. If you have any questions, let us know in the comments section at the bottom and we’ll get back to you asap!
Method MAINFRAME Formula
Here is the Method MAINFRAME formula as it should look on the bottle when it finally launches:
That’s quite a formula.
It’s been a little while since we’ve seen such an impressive selection of ingredients.
On the whole, this is a very streamlined, focused, concentrated formula.
No waste, no fluff – just powerful nootropics backed by science.
Here’s an overview of what we like and what we don’t like about the Method MAINFRAME formula.
What We Like
The thing that impresses us most here is that, in almost every instance, the manufacturers could not have chosen better ingredients.
For the purposes of enhancing memory function in a slow, steady, but deep and lasting way, you can’t do better than Bacopa monnieri.
This stuff has been shown in multiple clinical trials to improve memory retention and recall, even in healthy adults, and it is immensely reliable.
Each serving of Method MAINFRAME provides a generous 300mg of this potent 50% extract. This is more than we need – much more. Benefits are certain to be felt after a month or two of taking this much bacopa.
If you want to deliver an immediate boost to your focus, attention levels, and mental clarity, then Alpha-GPC should be one of your first ports of call.
Alpha-GPC is one of the best cholinergics available. It rapidly raises acetylcholine availability in the brain, leading to significantly higher cognitive functioning. In practical terms, this means better learning capacity, better memory function, and an enhanced ability to concentrate.
Again, we have plenty of Alpha-GPC in Method MAINFRAME; so much in fact that we think just about everybody will experience some degree of cognitive difference from using it.
If long-term brain growth and adaptation is your goal, then we firmly believe Lion’s Mane Mushroom to be the most effective, safest option on the market today.
Lion’s Mane Mushroom is not like most other nootropics you will see discussed on this site.
Rather than affecting your neurotransmitters, your cardiovascular system, or anything like that, Lion’s Mane works in a very gradual but deep, almost insidious way to bring about improvements in brain function.
Put simply, Lion’s Mane triggers the release of a neurotrophic factor called Nerve Growth Factor (NGF). When the presence of NGF is detected, your nerve cells take it as a sign that they need to start growing, proliferating, and rebuilding existing damaged structures.
Stimulating NGF production can therefore have a profound effect on the very architecture of the brain.
The effects of LMM are not immediate or particularly strongly felt.
But they are real, and in many ways, they are much more powerful.
The fact that these ingredients have each been selected and thrown together without any ‘fillers’, bogus extracts or dangerous stimulants is really something to celebrate.
Very few stacks opt for the best possible ingredient in every instance.
It is an ever rarer occurrence when they decide to dose them all even close to properly (more on this in the negatives).
We haven’t mentioned the other ingredients because we dislike them or feel that they have no place in a nootropic stack. We have simply decided to focus on the ones that most aggressively jumped out at us.
There is one ingredient in Method MAINFRAME, however, that we have real reservations about: Acteolin.
What We Don’t Like
The thing that makes Method MAINFRAME so unique is the use of Acteolin.
This is a branded herbal extract that you will never have come across before. It is, as far as we know, used exclusively in Method MAINFRAME.
This may change in the near future of course; Acteolin is made by a company called Nuliv Science. So they may allow their patented extract to be used in other stacks in the future.
So what is Acteolin?
Acteolin is an extract of Sweet Olive.
Not so mysterious now!
According to Nuliv Science, part of what makes Acteolin so special is the process by which it is extracted and treated:
Now, Nuliv Science makes some pretty grand claims about the potential power of Acteolin:
- Upgrade Cognitive Performance
- Boost Memory Functions
- Improve Lung & Retinal Health
The reference to improving lung and retinal health isn’t mentioned by Method MAINFRAME, but Nuliv Science make much of it on their Acteolin website.
They lay out exactly how Acteolin stands to benefit retinal health and, by extension, eye sight:
- Heptocyte growth factor (HGF) has mitogenic, motogenic, and morphogenic activities in epithelial cells
- Induction of HGF production may be involved in organ regeneration, wound healing and embryogensis
- The retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) is essential for normal visual functions, including nutrient and ion transport, melanin synthesis, retinol metabolism, photoreceptor outer segment disc phagocytosis and digestion
- RPE cells decreased with aging
This is all very interesting.
The problem, however, is that there isn’t a single scientific citation provided here.
The website does have a “research” section, but under this heading we just have a kind of infographic made by Nuliv Science in which they outline all the benefits they mentioned above.
We’re actually struggling to find any scientific evidence supporting the notion that Acteolin or even Osmanthus fragrans as a whole plant can do any of the things claimed by Nuliv Science.
Until we see some hard clinical proof that these claims are legit, we’re forced to decide that it is bogus.
Another fairly serious issue with this stack is the use of Huperzine A.
Huperzine A enhances cognitive function by shutting off your brains ability to get rid of acetylcholine.
Acetylcholine is the ‘learning neurotransmitter’. It is involved in processes ranging from learning to muscle motor communication. It is an important part of brain function to say the least.
Raising acetylcholine availability in the brain is a good way to enhance cognitive funciton across the spectrum.
However, Huperizne A has a serious flaw.
While pro-choline substances like Alpha-GPC work by boosting acetylcholine production, Huperzine A works by shutting off the regulation system.
This is problematic because your brain definitely needs to be able to get rid of excess acetylcholine.
Higher levels are good – excessive levels are not.
That is why Huperzine A is associated with fairly serious side effects if it is not cycled properly. You need to take regular breaks while using Huperzine A, ensuring that you do not ‘stay on’ for too long.
But this means you also have to take a break from things like Bacopa monnieri and Lion’s Mane Mushroom.
These substances really have to be taken regularly and continuously to take full effect.
So the very make-up of the Method MAINFRAME limits what you can get from the best ingredients.
That is a real shame from an otherwise great formula. The inclusion of Huperzine A was rather pointless since you have so much Alpha-GPC, and leaving it out would allow the best ingredients to really shine in the long-run.
A further, but much more minor, problem with the Method MAINFRAME formula is that the Lion’s Mane Mushroom dosage is significantly lower than it should be.
Serious, high powered, full-spectrum nootropics that utilize LMM will typically use ore than 800mg.
Many use well over a gram.
That is because LMM is so potentially effective, so safe at larger doses, and so useless at low doses, that including less than 500mg in each serving is pretty inexcusable. We think including less than 800mg per serving is selling your customers short.
This is a minor point, as long-term use of 300mg will still have some positive effect. But it is still an area where Method MAINFRAME could be much better.
Method MAINFRAME Side Effects
There are some ingredients in here that give us cause for concern as far as side effects go.
As mentioned above, Huperzine A needs to be taken very seriously. It need to be cycled properly to avoid even mild side effects, and long-term, continual use is unsuitable for pretty much everybody.
Teacrine (branded form of theacrine) is also a bit of a worry.
Teacrine is essentially a stimulant which people claim works very similarly to caffeine.
If that’s true, we would always wonder why they haven’t just used caffeine?!
In any case, theacrine is an unusual stimulant. it is not usually consumed by most people in a purified, supplement form.
If the claims of the manufacturers are right and it does act like caffeine, then you need to be on the lookout for side effects such as an elevated heart rate, high blood pressure, insomnia, irritability, lack of focus, and energy crashes.
Since caffeine is so much better understood than theacrine and since so many people already have a decent tolerance for caffeine, we don’t think there’s ever a justifiable reason to use theacrine.
Making the label look cooler isn’t a good reaosn in our opinion.
Method MAINFRAME Review Conclusion
We think this brilliant formula is really let down in some key areas.
If you read our entire Method MAINFRAME review, then you’ll know that there is much about this product that we love.
Many of the ingredients used are the best available; indeed, the manufcaturers could not have done better in some aspects of formulation.
However, in other areas they’ve really weakened their product.
The use of Acteolin is a bit concerning since there is no evidence that this sweet olive extract works – no evidence at all!
The use of Huperzine A means that you will need to take regular breaks from using Method MAINFRAME, which will severely limit the effectiveness of Bacopa monnieri, Lion’s Mane Mushroom, and other key nootropics.
FInally, the LMM dosage is pretty weak, which is a real shame since other ingredients are dosed so well.
All in all, this potentially market-leading nootropic has one too many weak links to really make it to the top of our rankings.
That said, if you know how to use Huperzine A safely and effectively, and you don’t mind supplements which utilize unusual stimulants, Method MAINFRAME might be ideal for you. Just ensure that you pick the right stack for your specific goals!
