Liveli Focus Clearli Review Summary
This is a brand new supplement company, formed by an anesthesiologist and dermatologist couple. The idea and motivation behind Liveli is noble, but we think the execution could have been much better. Liveli Focus Clearli is a stack of different proprietary blends, each one containing a mix of useful, scientifically proven nootropics, some less thoroughly proven extracts, and in places, some blatant fillers. It packs a punch, no doubt about it. Many people will benefit. But we wouldn’t recommend it to our readers.
We don’t think there’s ever a good reason to use proprietary blends. You’re either hiding something or you have insecurities that PLENTY of other manufacturers clearly don’t – either way, you’re not competitive. We also think Liveli Focus Clearli should be careful when pushing “their story”. Focus Clearli shouldn’t be your go-to treatment if you’re struggling to recover from a brain tumor.
Where To Buy Liveli Focus Clearli
Liveli have an official, independent online store. It looks as legit as any website to us. Always buy direct when you have the choice!
Full Liveli Focus Clearli Review
Liveli is a brand new supplement manufacturing company. They have come from nowhere and quickly brought themselves to the attention of everybody in the nootropics industry. They have already been mentioned by major news publishing outlets; investments in PR tell us that they intend to be around for a while. They have a very sleek website, and to top it off, they have multiple related products on offer.
They have a sleep aid, which we will review separately, a daily restoring stack, and Focus Clearli – their daily nootropic and flagship product.
So what’s all the fuss about?
What is Liveli Focus Clearli designed to do exactly?
Liveli Focus Clearli is designed to deliver the following core benefits, according to the Liveli official website:
- Strengthen mental stamina
- Refine clarity & cognition
- Boost energy & alertness
- Support cognitive health
That is a really great list of benefits. Lately we’ve seen a lot of caffeine-heavy nootropics that are designed to give you a quick, sharp boost of energy. This is inevitably followed by a major crash.
Too few stacks focus on both cognitive enhancement AND long-term cognitive health.
Liveli have a very good perspective on what nootropics are all about: “When you’re sharper, steadier and simply clear, you can make the most of your time. That’s how we make the most of ourselves.”
We couldn’t agree more.
So this all sounds great.
The question is, how much of this is true?
Does Liveli Focus Clearli work as advertised?
Is it safe? What are the main side effect risks?
Is it a good purchase? Does it represent good value compared to similar products on the market right now?
We’ll answer all of these questions in our complete Liveli Focus Clearli review below. We’ll start things off by examining the formula in a little more detail. After all, lots of supplements claims to be “doctor formulated” and “backed by science”, but that can mean very little in practice. If you finish the review and still have some questions, let us know in the comments at the end.
Liveli Focus Clearli Formula
Let’s take a look at the Liveli Focus Clearli formula:
So right away, you notice that we aren’t given individual ingredient serving sizes.
Instead, the Liveli Focus Clearli formula is broken up into 3 distinct but rather large proprietary blends.
We hate proprietary blends.
So should you.
Why We Hate Proprietary Blends
You should stay well away from proprietary blends for a couple of very good reasons.
The main issue is that there’s no real justification for using them.
Many manufacturers claim that they need to use prop blends to stop others from stealing their intellectual property.
That’s total nonsense.
A quick look at the market will show you that plenty of supplement manufacturers reveal their formula’s IN FULL on the website. You don’t have to make a purchase to find out how much Bacopa or caffeine or theanine is in each stack – the precise serving size is there on the website for everybody to see.
Clearly supplement manufacturers can still make lots of money and sell lots of product while releasing their full formula specs to the public.
In fact, the MOST POPULAR and successful supplements in any niche are those that have their individual ingredient doses available for viewing before you buy.
So we are left with two possibilities:
1) Certain manufacturers are lying when they say they need to hide their formula specs. In reality, they just want to hide some uncomfortable truths from potential customers regarding each ingredients dosing.
2) Certain manufacturers have serious and completely unfounded insecurities about their intellectual property. They are genuinely scared of someone else stealing their formula and putting them out of business. These insecurities and fears are making them un-competitive as they cannot offer the same transparency as other manufacturers.
As consumers, we have absolutely no reason to care about the insecurities of a manufacturer.
Why they are un-competitive is neither here nor there – the fact that some manufacturers offer total transparency while they do not is all we need to know.
What We Like About Liveli Focus Clearli
The fact that it hides behind prop blends is enough to put us off this product to be honest.
But there are some positives here that we should point out.
There are some very effective nootropics in Liveli Focus Clearli. Many of these ingredients work in synergistic fashion, complimenting one another while doing different things. Together, they deliver a good range of different benefits.
Rhodiola rosea helps reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, especially those related to performance anxiety. It has been shown in multiple clinical trials to help with focus, concentration, and memory function during times of acute stress.
Bacopa monnieri is probably one of the most scientifically-backed ingredients in Liveli Focus Clearli. Studies have shown that bacopa monnieri supplementation helps improve memory recall and long-term memory retention in both healthy adults and in older people struggling with age-related memory problems.
Ginkgo Biloba works by expanding the blood vessels in your brain. This lets more oxygen through, which nourishes brain cells that might otherwise have been left gasping for air. Ginkgo has been shown to improve cognitive function in numerous ways; hence why it is now used around the world as a cognitive enhancer.
Tyrosine, like rhodiola rosea, helps support cognitive function during times of peak mental and physical strain. While rhodiola reduces feelings of stress and anxiety, Tyrosine helps your brain function properly despite being tired, hungry, in pain, or in any way distracted by the demands you have placed your body under.
Together, these ingredients should work to improve different aspects of cognitive function. If they are dosed properly, then the overall effect should be dramatic – much bigger than the sum of their parts.
But the key word there is “if”…
What We Don’t Like
Obviously, our main problem with this stack is the proprietary blends.
Yet not all prop blends are as bad as one another.
Liveli Focus Clearli is far from a terrible nootropic. The ingredient selection and extract quality tells us that. Yet there are several serious issues relating to the Focus Clearli formula in particular.
For one thing, many of the best ingredients need to be dosed above a certain level or else they will provide no benefits whatsoever.
If the bacopa content, for instance, is below 100mg, then users are unlikely to experience any significant improvements in memory function at all.
The same can be said about the Tyrosine. Less than 100mg of Tyrosine before a stressful day at work and you aren’t going to notice anything different about your cognitive function.
The point here is that we don’t know how much of these ingredients we are getting in each serving.
As explained above, we don’t care why Liveli have done this. All we care about is the fact that other manufacturers haven’t.
The fact that the ingredients are all so dose sensitive makes the use of ‘filler’ ingredients even more worrying.
Take a look at the Focus Clearli Herbal Blend. The blend is 400mg in total. One of the ingredients, Cayenne Pepper, provides no nootropic benefits whatsoever. This stuff is more often found in bodybuilding supplements; pretty much never in brain supplements.
The important thing though is the fact that Cayenne Pepper powder can be, and regularly is, supplemented in amounts exceeding 200mg per capsule.
So half of this blend could easily be taken up by one ingredient.
We see exactly the same thing in the Focus Clearli Complex.
This blend contains some really commonplace amino acids that can be procured in large amounts for very little money (relative to more exotic ingredients).
Taurine, for example, is typically supplemented in amounts exceeding 500mg.
Creatine Monohydrate is taken by bodybuilders in amounts exceeding 3-5g per day – 10x MORE THAN THE ENTIRE BLEND.
We think you would only include ingredients like taurine and creatine if you wanted to bulk out the blend. Doing so lets you cut back on more expensive ingredients. After all, cayenne pepper and taurine are pretty cheap, they’re safe, and they don’t have any other reason to be here!
Liveli Focus Clearli Side Effects
It’s very difficult to discuss side effect risks when you don’t know doses. That is just another inherent problem with proprietary blends.
We can, however, identify a couple of obvious risk factors that we see in the Liveli Focus Clearli formula.
Huperzine A is probably the most serious side effect risk factor.
Huperzine A is an inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase. This is the enzyme responsible for getting rid of excess acetylcholine – the “learning” neurotransmitter. Excessive build-ups of acetylcholine can actually be counter-productive if the brain isn’t able to regulate it properly.
That us why Huperzine A needs to be cycled properly. If you don’t, the brain can’t regulate acetylcholine levels at all, and side effects will follow. Common side effects of excessive acetylcholine levels include:
- Loss of focus
- Loss of motivation
- Muscle cramps
As we explain in our Huperzine A guide, you need to take regular breaks to reduce the risk of experiencing these side effects. There’s no set rule here, but we recommend using Huperzine A for no more than 3-4 weeks before taking a good week off. Ideally, you’d take more time off than you were ‘on’.
We want you to remember that we are not doctors, and this is not medical advice. Nor is this an exhaustive, complete breakdown of all possible side effects of using Liveli Focus Clearli. This is just a quick look at the most obvious trouble spots. Every individual is different, so it is VITAL that you do your own research and talk to a doctor about your intentions to use this product.

If you are truly experiencing cognitive decline or serious cognitive impairment, then you need a qualified doctor, not a supplement. Especially not one designed by an anesthesiologist and a dermatologist.
Liveli Focus Clearli Review Conclusion
If you’ve read the full review, then you’ll know that we aren’t overly impressed with Liveli Focus Clearli.
We’re never going to be enamored with a stack consisting of over-stretched proprietary blends, especially when the blends contain blatant filler ingredients.
We hate not knowing how each ingredient is dosed, and we don’t think that’s unreasonable. Even if Liveli think they have good reasons for hiding this information, other manufacturers are comfortable to share it. Clearly, they’re just not competitive in today’s market.
The stack contains some excellent, effective, scientifically-validated focus and memory enhancers.
But we don’t know how they are dosed.
Given the presence of filers, we think it’s unlikely that they are all dosed how they need to be. In fact, looking at the size of the blends and the number of ingredients, it’s practically impossible for ALL of the ingredients to be dosed properly.
If you want a potent supplement to help you stay sharp, awake, and operating at maximum capacity, then Liveli Focus Clearli probably isn’t it.
Other stacks can increase your focus, improve memory retention and recall, and safeguard brain health while offering much better value for money (and a lot more transparency).
