Neuro Focus Review Summary
This is just another off-the-rack, mass-produced supplement where a formula has been purchased and branding slapped on after the fact. There are now so many nootropics with exactly the same formula being sold on Amazon, it’s hard to keep track.
Somewhere out there a single wholesaler is obviously offering this supplement up for cheap, and people are paying for their custom labels to be applied to the finished bottles.
All of this stuff about “carefully selecting” ingredients and working hard to provide the “best possible supplement” is total garbage. Manufacturers like this do not care about customer satisfaction; they care about making a fast buck before the demand falls. They risk nothing in offering these stacks, and they stand everything to gain from even a few hundred sales.
Where To But Neuro Focus
As with all of the supplement sharing this formula, Neuro Focus seems to only be sold through Amazon. Order fulfillment seems to be left to Amazon, with the “manufacturer” probably handling nothing. Buyers beware.
Full Neuro Focus Review
Neuro Focus is sold as a premium brain support nootropic stack. The vast majority of its sales must come through Amazon, as we have never seen this stack publicized or even mentioned on any other websites.
Either it is very new to the market, or it is simply unable to make a blip on our radar.
Neuro Focus is made by Goodlife Nutrition. We can’t find the official website for these guys, so we assume they leave everything to be taken care of by Amazon.
This is an increasingly common practice, and one which makes us concerned. If manufacturers don’t need to invest in order fulfillment, customer services, or anything like that, then they have nothing to lose. If they have nothing to lose, they don’t need to try to make the best product they can.
So anyway, what about Neuro Focus?
What is it supposed to do?
According to the Amazon merchant page, Goodlife Nutrition is a holistic nootropic, addressing pretty much every aspect of cognitive function.
Three main benefits are put right there on the bottle. These include:
- Superior cognitive support
- Enhanced mental clarity
- Greater focus and a heightened sense of alertness
This is all pretty standard stuff. Every nootropic stack claims to offer these benefits. The general language used here is typical of run-of-the-mill brain supplements. We always look for more general promises.
Some of the marketing material that comes with Goodlife Nutrition Neuro Focus does give us more specifics about the product:
You’ll notice next to the money-back guarantee it states clearly that Goodlife Nutrition have made a big effort to make the best memory and focus supplement they can: “We have done everything within our power to provide you with a powerful and efficient mental and brain health support supplement”. Poor wording, but you get the point.
We’re told that we can have boosted productivity, that the formula is totally organic, and that Neuro Focus actually helps keep your brain healthy.
That sounds marvelous!
But is any of this actually true?
Can Neuro Focus do any of this?
There’s only one way to find out. Here’s our full Neuro Focus review. Please post all of your questions in the comments section below.
Neuro Focus Formula
To find out if this supplement is going to give us any of the benefits Goodlife Nutrition says it will, we need to examine the formula. If the ingredients aren’t up to scratch, then the promises of the manufacturer mean nothing.
Here is the Neuro Focus ingredients list, as displayed on the side of the bottle:
We almost can’t believe what we’re seeing.
YET ANOTHER STACK WITH THE SAME FORMULA!
Duplicate Supplements On Amazon
We have already reviewed several supplements with this exact formula (listed below), and Amazon has many more currently on sale.
It is blindingly obvious to us what is happening here. It is unfortunately a common set-up in today’s supplement industry.
A single wholesaler is producing capsules with this formula, and offering them to brands as a ‘white label’ product. This means a customer is welcome to simply put their branding on the bottle and claim the supplement as their own.
The capsules are all made in the same facility, by the same manufacturer, to the same specifications. Once the bottles are finished, the individual brand labels are then applied according to how many units have been ordered. A certain number of bottles are kept in reserve, and either Amazon or a third-party mailing company take care of fulfillment.
The “manufacturers” whose names are actually on the bottles will probably never see the facility where their beloved products are made. They will most likely never ship a single bottle themselves.
These manufacturers of course all say things like, “we have done everything within our power to provide you with a powerful and efficient mental and brain health support supplement”. But these are just words. It is obvious that they are just buying a pre-made formula ‘off-the-rack’. Their involvement in creating the formula is almost definitely non-existent.
We are coming across more and more of these all the time, and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight.
Clearly, something needs to change with the way Amazon lets these manufacturers operate.
Neuro Focus Proprietary Blend
It’s worth doing a quick primer on the Neuro Focus proprietary blend. The vitamin stack is obviously laughably weak, providing little more in the way of nutrients than a sandwich. So does the actual nootropic blend offer anything more impressive?
No, absolutely not.
The blend is drastically under-powered. Just 692mg split between so many ingredients means that there is no way the best ingredients are dosed as high as they should be.
To make matters worse, the blend also contains some ingredients that have no scientifically-proven brain boosting properties. Why this wholesaler has decided to include Bilberry Extract in their blend, we’ll never know. We have never seen any evidence that this stuff helps with brain function, health, or mood.
That some of the already over-stretched formula is being wasted on this garbage is just ridiculous.
If you take anything away from this, let it be this: for so many “manufacturers” to be offering this supplement, the price has to be right.
These companies aren’t even investing in their own order fulfillment capabilities. Do you think they’ll want to pay top dollar for the supplement? Of course not.
So, do you think the proprietary blend is protecting a revolutionary blend, or hiding how incredibly cheap this formula was to produce?
Goodlife Nutrition Neuro Focus Review Conclusion
Goodlife Nutrition Neuro Focus has exactly the same formula as several other nootropics currently being sold on Amazon.
Clearly, all of these brands are purchasing a ‘white label’, pre-made, off-the-rack formula from a manufacturer, and just applying their own branding afterwards.
We have explained above how this arrangement works; the manufacturer doesn’t have to bother with marketing, they can get rid of their left-over, cheap ingredients, and the brand doesn’t have to bother making a decent formula.
With Amazon fulfilling all of their orders, “manufacturers” like Goodlife Nutrition never even have to see a box of their supposedly beloved product; they just outsource everything and take the small profit off the top. There’s a smaller return that making your own product from scratch, but no risk whatsoever.
If you’re looking for a reliable, genuinely unique and most importantly, effective supplement to help with focus, memory, learning and stress, then we don’t think Neuro Focus is what you’re really after.
