Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode Review Summary
The Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode formula is almost identical to tens of other formulas out there right now. Just take a look at Slunberful, or Zhou DRIFTOFF, and you’ll see what we mean. While they aren’t actually identical, they’re clearly all cut from the same cloth. Clearly, when it comes to their sleeping supplements, lots of manufacturers are either lazy, they lack imagination, or they are just copying each other’s formulas – why else would everyone be using passionflower!
The Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode formula, like that of these other products, is extremely boring. We get a bare minimum dose of theanine, a small dose of tryptophan, and a generous dose of Melatonin. The rest of the ingredients are either poorly absorbed, sub-standard, or completely ineffective.

Detailed Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode Review
We don’t need to give Evlution Nutrition much of an introduction. You’ve probably seen their branding somewhere before; be it at the mall, online, or in a supermarket. They are absolute giants in the bodybuilding supplement world. They are now beginning to make forays into the wider supplementation market with an array of products designed for full spectrum human optimization.
So what is Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode designed to do?
Who is it designed to help, exactly?
As you see if you look at the bottle, this product claims to deliver the following key benefits:
- Help falling asleep fast
- Promotes deep, restful sleep
- Natural ingredients, vegetarian-friendly
Simple and to the point. This stack claims to help you fall asleep faster, and to then help you enjoy longer, more restful sleep.
That is exactly what many of us are looking for from a natural sleep supplement. Many of us simply can’t fall asleep in good time. We lie awake for hours after the lights go out. This just makes us worry about not getting enough sleep, which makes things even worse.
Other people just don’t seem to feel rested when they wake up. Even when they technically get 7-8 hours, they still feel tired.
So if Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode can really help us with this things, it will be a very useful sleep aid.
The question is, does it actually do any of the things it says it does?
Can it reduce sleep latency AND promote sleep quality?
How does it compare to the best natural sleep aids on the market today?
In our full Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode review below, we tear the formula apart, exposing every weakness and highlighting every strength. We discuss side effect risks too. In the end, we’ll give you our final verdict on this popular sleeping supplement. If you have any questions, please post them to the comments section at the end.
Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode Formula
Let’s take a closer look at the formula:
That’s pretty much the same old, boring, unimaginative formula we’ve seen used by tens of sleep supplements already.
We’ve reviewed a handful of products that have almost this exact formula.
While we don’t think we’ve reviewed a product using THE EXACT same formula, they get pretty close. For example, check out The Calm Company Better Rest formula:
This stack uses the same 9 ingredients, with the doses only slightly changed in places.
There are other examples of products using a very similar formula to this one, but we don’t see the need to list them all here. You get the idea.
This wouldn’t be a huge issue if the formula was particularly impressive.
If Evlution Nutrition, for instance, had found a groundbreaking new ingredient, or they’d been really ingenious with their dosing, then we’d expect some others to follow suit.
But the formula really doesn’t deserve such emulation!
It is mighty suspicious to us that so many manufacturers have opted to include the same dud ingredients, the same sub-standard extracts, and the same weak doses in their products.
Let’s go through this in a little more detail.
- Good serving of melatonin
There isn’t a great deal to get excited about with this formula, but there are definitely a few strengths worth highlighting.
The main one is the good serving of melatonin.
Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland. It is what regulates your sleep cycle; it makes you feel tired at night and awake in the morning (by its absence).
It isn’t always effective to consume neurotransmitters or hormones in their complete form, as they rarely get absorbed and utilized in the brain. Well, melatonin is one of the few that actually works. Supplementing with melatonin has been shown in numerous clinical trials to reduce sleep latency (even in people with sleep onset insomnia), improve sleep quality, and enhance morning alertness.
Most trials showing good effects from melatonin have used somewhere in the 2-10mg range. Obviously effects vary according to dose and potency, but anything above 5mg is probably wasteful – diminishing returns occur above about 6mg.
The 5mg we get from Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode then is absolutely perfect.
- Small doses in vital areas
- Dud ingredients
There are far more weaknesses here than strengths, we’re sorry to say. On the whole, we believe that these weaknesses are pretty crippling; we wouldn’t advise people looking for maximum results to use Sleep Mode.
The main issue as we see it is the lack of power in key areas. The prime example is theanine. This is the main ingredient in this stack, and yet it is not dosed properly!
We get just 200mg of theanine in Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode. There are lots of studies showing theanine as having great benefits in terms of reducing anxiety and reducing sleep latency. Some studies have also shown that theanine improves sleep quality. Yet all of these studies have used between 200mg and 400mg of theanine.
As it is the main ingredient, and since it is so cheap, we really would like to see theanine dosed at the upper end of the effective range. It isn’t known to cause any side effects at these doses and it is readily available from wholesalers.
There’s really no excuse to limp in with this ingredient here. Evlution Nutrition have skimped in the one area they shouldn’t.
Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode Side Effects
Like most of the natural sleeping supplements we review on this site, Sleep Mode seems to be extremely safe for the vast majority of users.
It uses natural ingredients, each of which has been individually tested for human consumption and found to be generally safe.
Side effects are unlikely, and when they do occur, they are likely to be very mild.
These ingredients are widely used; have been for some time. Many of them are consumed in doses well above those used here. We therefore think it’s safe to assume that they aren’t particularly dangerous.
However, everybody is different. We don’t know your medical history, your allergies, or anything about you at all.
And we aren’t doctors.
This isn’t an exhaustive look at every possible danger. This is just an overview of the main risk factors as we see them.
We need you to remember the following: It is absolutely vital that you consider your own circumstances, do your own research, and always consult a qualified health professional before using these supplements.

Final Verdict – Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode – Should You Use It?
We don’t think this stack is a very good choice for those of you looking to get a better night’s sleep, especially if you are looking for good value for money.
The melatonin dose will definitely help you get back on to a healthy, restful sleeping cycle. The low dose of theanine, while disappointing, will help you fall asleep faster each night.
But as a whole, the Sleep Mode formula is a big let down.
A lot of the ingredients, like passionflower and hops, do very little, if anything, to help you sleep better, for longer, or with fewer interruptions.
Theanine is the main ingredient, but it is low dosed.
The only draw is the melatonin really.
If you want a melatonin supplement, you can get one for a lot less than the price of Evlution Nutrition Sleep Mode.
