We Care About Our Content
The main thing that sets us apart from many of our competitors is the simple fact that we care about our content.
We will only publish content that we deem to be well written, thoroughly researched, informative, and ultimately helpful.
We of course want to publish pages that will be popular with our readers. But that will never come at the expense of quality, accuracy, or integrity.
The internet today is an amazing, terrifying, dangerous, wonderful place. We have instant access to virtually limitless information. But we are also increasingly exposed to information which is unhelpful, misleading, and often downright harmful.
More often than not, this harmful misinformation is produced by people who are after your money.
They spin scientific studies to suit their needs. They use insinuation and inference to convince you of things that just aren’t true without ever actually lying. They invent personal experiences to support their dubious claims.
We will never allow this to happen on NaturalNootropic.com.
Our priority is producing high quality content that will provide value to our readers for years to come. We need to make a living, but we believe that the best way to guarantee lasting income from a website is to put your readers first.
That’s why we adhere to strict editorial guidelines when producing our content.
Our Editorial Guidelines
You can rest assured that everything you read on this site has been written with the following policies in mind:
- Content must be 100% unique and written by a single author
- Copy must be easy to understand, engaging, and fluid
- No spun content or article rip-offs
- Must be formatted to optimize user experience
- Must use relevant subheadings – NO CLICK-BAIT!
- Relevant sources must be used to back up claims (absolutely integral if claim hasn’t been made before on the site)
- Blog posts, news articles, and manufacturer websites are not suitable sources for citations – must use scientific journals, academic websites, etc.
- Use of anecdotal data must be qualified with limitations of such data
- Authors must state any vested interests they have when discussing a product, service, or practice in the body copy
If we think an article or review violates any of these policies, we won’t publish it.
It really is that simple.
Sponsored Post Policy
This section is easy.
We don’t do sponsored posts.
We do not accept money from anybody to put content on our website.
We don’t allow supplement manufacturers to pay for space on our site.
We don’t allow supplement manufacturers to pay for inclusion in our “best of” lists.
We don’t let them pay for anything, in fact.
When we find a product that we really like, we sometimes contact the manufacturer and see if they would like to set up a referral system, where we get a small percentage of any purchases made by a customer who came directly from our site. This does not make any difference to the customer in any way; the percentage comes from the manufacturer’s marketing budget.
We do not do this for every product we like; some of our recommended products earn us nothing, but we think they’re great so we recommend them, even though we could make a lot of money recommending lower quality products.
That is it.
No “promoted reviews”.
No “totally impartial but not really” reviews written by the manufacturer’s marketing team.
Everything you read on this site is written by our writers because we wanted to write it.
