AKUA LIFE Neuro-Stack Review Summary
This daily nootropic stack really packs a punch. It contains a wide variety of ingredients. Together, they touch upon every aspect of cognitive function and brain health – from long-term brain development, to a reduction in performance anxiety and an increase in focus, everything is dealt with here. Most users will get good results while using AKUA LIFE Neuro-Stack.
That said, we have some problems with the formulation. It is powerful, but it also contains A LOT of dead weight. The formula also leaves the core ingredients under-dosed in places, probably because they’ve been so eager to fit in as many ingredients as possible. It could be better, but this is a great supplement nonetheless.
Where To Buy AKUA LIFE Neuro-Stack
AKUA LIFE Neuro-Stack is exclusively available through Amazon at the time of writing. But their website says that their online store is ‘coming soon’. We will update this page when it goes live.
Full AKUA LIFE Neuro-Stack Review
We knew we had to do a full AKUA LIFE Neuro-Stack review as soon as we saw this stack. It hasn’t been on the market for very long, but it already has a lot of very positive customer reviews. It has also received a great deal of attention from professional supplement review sites. At the time of writing, this seems to be the only stack AKUA LIFE have, and it is only sold on Amazon.
But it looks like that might change in the near future.
So what is this nootropic designed to do exactly?
Who is it supposed to help specifically? Why should we care about it?
The label gives us a brief overview of the main benefits that users can expect from AKUA LIFE Neuro Stack:
- Enhances nerve regeneration
- Improves focus and clarity
Our regular readers will know how pleased we are to see ‘nerve regeneration’ listed on the front of the bottle!
Part of the reason we were so excited by this supplement is the fact that it views its main selling point as the use of Lion’s Mane Mushroom. It lists it right in the product title, and it says so on the bottle too.
We think that the best way to enhance cognition is to take a very long-term approach. Short-term focus and memory boosters should be used too, obviously. But the most significant improvements in brain functionality will come from investments in the physical architecture of the brain itself.
That’s why we love things like Lion’s Mane Mushroom – it promotes neurotrophic factors that encourage ACTUAL brain tissue growth!
The merchant page also tells us that AKUA LIFE Neuro Stack delivers enhanced mental energy, memory function, and more.
All of this sounds great to us.
But then again, every nootropic out there promises these things. Only about 1% actually deliver.
Does AKUA LIFE Neuro Stack really work?
Can this stack compete with the best nootropics on the market today?
How safe is it? Will it cause serious side effects?
In our comprehensive review below, you’ll find a thorough breakdown of the formula. We see what the latest scientific literature says about the ingredients and the serving sizes used. We look at the formula as a whole to see what the major risks are. At the end, we’ll tell you if we’d recommend this stack to someone looking for enhanced cognition across the board.

AKUA LIFE Neuro Stack Formula
Check out the AKUA LIFE Neuro-Stack formula:
That is one impressive formula!
Normally we’re a little put-off when we see so many ingredients crammed into a single stack.
And sure enough, the focus on variety has left some key, core substance under-dosed. There’s a fair bit of dead weight in here, which is never good. Perhaps the biggest problem is the value for money you get from this product – so much waste and such a big price tag!
But that doesn’t detract from the stack’s potency, which is immense.
There are several extremely powerful natural nootropics in here. They all have different but complimentary properties.
When taken together on a regular basis, everything from memory recall speed and concentration span to morning clarity and long term brain health should be significantly enhanced.
The flaws are real and they prevent this from being our #1 recommended stack. But you can’t argue with the fact that this stack will produce results.
What We Like
There’s a lot that we really like about this product.
For one thing, it provides some of the best natural brain function boosters at absolutely ideal dosages.
The main selling point from AKUA LIFE’s perspective is the large Lion’s Mane Mushroom dose, and we couldn’t agree more.
As we explain in our full Lion’s Mane Mushroom guide, this innocuous little fungus can have a profound and lasting effect on your brain.
LMM supplementation directly increases the expression of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) – a neuropeptide responsible for regulating the growth, proliferation, and maintenance of neurons. Increasing the presence of NGF will drastically ramp up neuron proliferation and maintenance. The effects of this should be obvious – more raw brain power, better overall cognitive performance, and a more healthy, functional brain.
The 1,400mg we get from AKUA LIFE Neuro Stack is WAY more than we need to see good, consistent, lasting improvements. This is a substance to be used long-term, so we really don’t need to go too hard, too fast.
But since side effect risks seem to be practically nil with this stuff, we see no downside to going a little overboard with the dosing. A great choice for a central ingredient.
We can’t ignore the other ingredients in AKUA LIFE Neuro-Stack. The range of enhancements this stack delivers is really something, and it is entirely down to the good range of effective brain boosters in play.
We have a good serving of Ginkgo biloba. This increases cerebral blood flow, which means more oxygen and nutrients can be delivered to your brain cells. As more research points to poor oxygenation as a possible cause of some cases of age-related cognitive decline, this looks more and more like an invaluable nootropic.
We get a really nice serving of Pine Bark Extract too. If this refers to Maritime Pine Bark, then this stuff is an anti-oxidant powerhouse. It is in a class of its own, far exceeding things like resveratrol and green tea extract in terms of potency and efficacy.

What We Don’t Like
We can’t argue with this stack’s power. It packs a serious punch, which we would expect from so many ingredients and such a large overall serving size!
But one thing we do take issue with is the amount of dead weight in this stack.
There are several ingredients which really have no place in a premium nootropic stack.
Lemon Balm has very limited efficacy when used as a sleeping aid. Scientific studies are few and far between, but those that have found lemon balm to be good at promoting sleep have found that it has a very slight effect. It certainly has no established nootropic properties.
Don’t be fooled by the exotic nomenclature; Peruvian Cacao is just plain old Cocoa to you and me! Now some people will tell you that chocolate has nootropic properties. We’re not convinced either way on this one – there is some room to argue that chocolate can help with brain function and mood. But it is ABSOLUTELY NOT a potent brain booster in the context of a premium, full spectrum nootropic supplement.
We could go on, but that’s already about 500mg of product that you’re paying for and getting nothing in return.
The presence of dead weight is one thing. But when we see that these ingredients have been added at the expense of proven nootropics, we really do have a problem on our hands.
While the makers have found more than 500mg for ingredients of questionable efficacy, they only allowed for 150mg of CDP-Choline.
This is one of the best natural focus boosters on the planet. It enhances learning, short term memory recall, and processing speed. That is why the best brain supplements will include 200-300mg of the stuff per serving.
Users will see results from 150mg per day, but not the same results as they would see from 200mg/day, let alone 250mg per day!
We could also happily have the Phosphatidylserine dose doubled.
For a stack so focused on long term brain regeneration and functionality, you’d think something like phosphatidylserine would have been given top priority.
Most studies showing really great results from PS supplementation have used 100mg and up per day. AKUA LIFE Neuro Stack only gives us 50mg.
A little less Cat’s Claw and a little more PS would go a long way to improving this stack.
This stack clearly doesn’t score well when ti comes to value for money. It may be highly potent, but you do have to pay for it, along with a lot of stuff that you don’t want or need.

Side Effects – Is Neuro-Stack Safe?
There’s nothing in this nootropic that makes us particularly worried about side effects.
The ingredients used in Neuro-Stack are all standard, staple nootropics. They’ve all been thoroughly tested for use as supplements, and they’re all thought to be generally safe for the average user. Most of them are used in plenty of nootropic supplements today, and few users complain about serious side effects.
So overall, Neuro-Stack looks pretty good on the side effects front!
The only concerns might be possible interactions from all the different ingredients; taking so many unusual herbal extracts at once might cause some stomach trouble.
It’s also worth mentioning that this formula contains Ginkgo Biloba. This stuff works by triggering vasodilation – the opening up of your blood vessels. If you have any pre-existing conditions that make this a risk (history or risk of stroke, heart disease, aneurysm, etc), then Neuro-Stack is not suitable for you.
We also can’t talk for each individual. All we are doing here is highlighting the most obvious dangers to us based on our own experience, research, and user feedback. Your unique medical history is very relevant here, which is why you need to get a medical opinion before you go ahead and start using Neuro-Stack.
Please remember that we are not doctors, and this is not meant to be medical advice. You MUST do your own research and consult with a medical professional before you go ahead and use this stuff! Every individual is different, and you never know how you’ll react unless you talk to your doctor. These supplements are not cures for cognitive decline. If you think you’re experiencing serious issues with mental performance, talk to a doctor.Caution
AKUA LIFE Neuro-Stack Review Conclusion
This is a really great stack overall.
Despite its problems, it is one of the best we’ve reviewed. In fact, we think it has to feature in our current top 3 rated nootropics.
It provides some top quality, scientifically-proven brain boosters. The stack covers a wide range of benefits – when taken together, they will augment every aspect of cognitive function.
The thing we’re most impressed by is the focus on long-term benefits. The huge dose of Lion’s Mane Mushroom coupled with the Pine Bark Extract will go a long way to boosting neuron maintenance and growth as well as protecting existing brain cells from free radical damage.
It does, however, contain a hell of a lot of dead weight.
We listed at least 500mg worth of useless ingredients above, and there is more.
This dead weight steals formula space from more deserving areas, like the CDP-Choline content – which is LOW.
Despite the low CDP-Choline and Phosphatidylserine doses, this stack retains a lot of power. It will deliver good enhancements for practically everybody. Not the #1 stack on the market right now, but well worth a try.
We have reviewed hundreds of nootropics and this supplement is still the most impressive. Our review team used this product for months and all experienced:
- Heightened focus
- Enhanced memory function
- More mental energy
- Better mental performance under stress

Thanks for the review… a couple of questions/observations.
The first, related to the Lion’s Mane, I have seen reports showing that different extraction methods produce different results regarding Lion’s Mane neurological effects. Water VS ethanol extraction with the latter more effective for neurological benefits. I find this confusing when trying to determine which supplement to buy. Maybe you can expand on this.
The second, regarding the reviewed stack, is the inclusion of Rhodiola and Bioperine. I have a vague memory of reading that bioperine reduces the effectiveness of Rhodiola. I was wondering your thoughts on that.
Thanks again.
Review Team says
Those are some very interesting questions.
We’ll look more into the difference between different extraction methods with regards to Lion’s Mane and update our ingredient guide accordingly. But intuitively, we are extremely skeptical. People always make a big deal out of extraction processes because it makes good advertising, but it rarely means anything. How you get hold of something usually has no effect on the thing’s properties.
To our knowledge the inclusion of bioperine does not reduce the effectiveness of rhodiola rosea in any meaningful way. Quite the opposite; it should enhance the effectiveness of all of the ingredients by aiding digestion. What makes you think bioperine will hinder the rhodiola rosea’s effectiveness?
Many thanks,

Very informative review, thank you.
I am also a very experienced biohacker, and I like both products. I, unlike most people, have tried both of these products for over month each. For me, hands down Neuro-Stack is better, mainly because of the RESULTS I saw when using it and secondly because it scored better on paper because of the QUALITY and DOSAGE AMOUNTS of the INGREDIENTS.
To score NEURO-STACK and MIND LAB PRO on paper, I went deep into the ingredients and assigned a point system to see what product would win.
When I compare Mind lab pro (MLP) at 11 ingredients and Neuro-Stack (NS) at 22 ingredients, these are the results I got.
If you count points for the nootropic ingredients in the two stacks, one could measure it like this.
1. (1 point for Mind Lab Pro (MLP)) the COGNIZIN at 250mg, Neuro-Stack only has 150 CDP Choline, and that is not enough. I thought about only giving MLP a 1/2 point because they both have the same ingredient. But I ended up scoring two 1/2 points to MLP because they have 250mg (1/2 point) and they have a better version of this important nootropic (1/2 point).
2. (1/2 point for MLP) – PS at 100 mg, NS has 50mg of PS. Only a 1/2 point awarded because both products have PS
3. (1 point Neuro-Stack-(NS) for the Bacopa) NS has 300mg at 50% bacosides. MLP only has 150mg that’s not enough, and MLP has 24% bacosides the important active ingredient, that is less potent than NS’s at 50% bacosides. NS gets a 1/2 point for the proper dosage and a 1/2 point for the increased potency.
4. (1 point for NS) one could potentially give NS up to 3 points because of the volume of Lion’s Mane Mushroom(LLM) and quality of this very important ingredient. MLP has 500mg of LLM and Neuro-Stack has almost 3x as much at 1400mg of LLM. NS offers the full fruiting body of Lion’s Mane Mushroom(LLM), and that is a big deal. It is unknown what type of LMM MLP offers.
5. Pine bark- no point awarded they have the same thing.
6. (1 point MLP because this is an Important nootropic) MLP has L- Tyrosine, NS does not
7. (1/2 for MLP) both products have SunTheanine MLP has 50mg more.
8. (1 for NS) 1/2 point for NS because they have the proper amount of Rhodiola Rosa and another 1/2 point because it is a patented more bioavailable version. MLP has 50mg, and that’s not enough.
9. (2.5 points NS, could be scored as high as 4 points for these important B vitamins) MLP has 3-B vitamins, NS has 7-B vitamins. B vitamins are absolutely necessary for success with nootropics. NS has 4 MORE B-vitamins than MLP. Scoring could have potentially been as high as 4 points for NS on the B-vitamins alone. I awarded 2.5 just to keep it close.
AT THIS POINT IT BECOMES STRAIGHT UP UNFAIR ADVANTAGE FOR NEURO-STACK BECAUSE ALL 11 INGREDIENTS IN MLP LAB PRO HAVE BEEN ACCOUNTED FOR.
10. (2 points for NS and it could be potentially as high as 4 points) 100mg Ginkgo (point NS), Ginkgo Biloba is an important nootropic and has been for thousands of years. MLP doe not have it.
11. (1 point NS) NS has artichoke at a 10 to 1 potency (1/2 point NS), and they add Forskihlli to magnify the effect of the artichoke s shown in clinical studies, brilliant (1/2 point NS). Again it could be potentially scored 2 points NS.
12. Neuro-Stack has another 4 ingredients. Including Lemon Balm, Ashwagandha, Cat’s Claw, and Cacao. They are not really large dosage amount but the Lemon Balm and the Cats Claw are 10;1 potency. Even at 1/2 point each (that’s unfair for NS) that’s 2 more points (could be potentially 4 more points)
End Score
Mind Lab Pro – 3 points
Neuro-Stack – 10.5 points, with potential points totaling as high as 19 points.
Under this scoring method, Neuro-Stack is 3x-6x the stack Mind Lad Pro is, and it felt that way when I used it too. It was easy for NS to score so much higher because it has double the weight and they offer quality ingredients.
Another nail in the coffin is the price. MIND LAB PRO cost $65 a bottle that is MORE than Neuro-Stack at $49.98. That makes Mind Lab Pro $15 more than Neuro-Stack for 1/2 the ingredients!
In my opinion, on all three major points 1. price, 2. Ingredients, and 3. results Neuro-Stack is the winner. It is a complete landslide and it seems to me very obvious that Neuro-Stack is superior to Mind Lab Pro.
